The phenylpropene molecule

Phenylpropenes are organic molecules found in a variety of plants. The molecule consists of a benzene ring attached to an allyl group and it commonly has a methylenedioxy ring attached to it as well. Most of the phenylpropenes are precursors to other substances, such as mescaline, MDMA, or PMA.
