A trip to the museum

The day started out with me scrambling to get things together. I grabbed my camera, my colorful African kofia hat, and especially my 25mg capsule of 2C-E. I ran outside were a friends mom kindly gave me a ride to the school, I would be spending the rest of the day with this girl, as she would accompany me throughout the experience. She was a straight-lace girl, having never taken a drug in her life. It was decided beforehand that she would partner with me as there was a buddy system to which we were ascribed. However I was pretty good friends with her and didn't quite mind all that much, other than the fact I knew she would get quite annoying due to her timid, shy, reserved and almost reluctant nature. She did not want to go on this trip in the first place, so throughout the experience she pointed out this fact many times and obsessed about getting back home. We arrived at the school and waited until the bus pulled up, to which we entered and made our way to our seats. The bus ride was a relatively normal one, the teacher handed out a bag of snacks of which I overindulged in, which I would later come to regret. Luckily the contents consisted of unprocessed type foods. We continued to drive as we made our way to Washington D.C, the capital of the United States of America. As we approached D.C you could see all that was the tourist area of D.C, with the Washington Monument standing out in all its phallic glory.

Once we arrived at our proper destination, the National Gallery of Art, we got off the bus and made our way inside the building. The first thing we did was stop at the restroom, and it was here I went into a stall and consumed my 25mg capsule of 2C-E. We than exited and made our way to the main lobby and proceeded to split up into groups, with one group going to sketch sculptures and the other going to sculpt themselves. My partner wanted to go sketch so I was made a group leader. We than approached a large tunnel covered in LEDs, which can be seen here. [1]. There's a conveyer belt that takes one across so we continued forth into the sculpture area. Here we were guided through to a cherub, called Putto Poised on a Globe, which can be seen here [2] She told us to circle around and study it for 2 minutes and than give out opinions on it. Circling the clay toddler I began to realize that this 500 year old sculpture was unbaked clay, remarkably it was in perfect condition, completely impeccable detail yet it was completely unbaked! She than asked us our impression to which I stated, "It seems to display a childlike sense of wonder.", someone else stated that it was in a state of movement, to which I added, "I wonder what he was reaching for". We made a few more commentaries and began to move on, after I snapped a quick photo.

We approached the second piece and this time the guide handed us chipboards, pencils and paper to sketch with. We sat down and studied what was a statue of a young boy, David, with the head of Goliath. This can be seen here, [3]. She asked us once again to circle this piece and observe it for 2 minutes in which we did, and after this she asked us a few questions. What is this? How do you know? Whats the first word that comes to mind?. We answered these questions and proceeded to sketch the piece in different ways. We discussed the intricacies of it and proceeded onward. I began to feel the 2C-E ever so slightly at this point and we entered the next room, to which was titled Gloria Victis, as seen here [4]. It depicted an angel carrying a human who held a broken sword, as coupled with an olive branch and an owl. I began to come up a bit more on the 2C-E. I wasn't quite tripping yet but could feel the first signals of stimulation. We circled the statue and observed it for 2 minutes, and than were asked our impressions. This was a very complex piece, from every angle new detail was revealed. As we circled I began to feel the 2C-E more and more and eventually we stopped and were asked to sit and sketch. We took turns switching places sketching from various angles. Once we had switched places in each direction we were asked our impressions. I first impression was that the angel was carrying a soldier with a broken sword off into the heavens. This was coupled by a broken sword in which he was holding. There was an olive branch at the bottom and an owl aswell, I saw this as a symbolism of peace and wisdom, with the broken sword symbolizing the end of war. I also saw the angel as symbolism of this wisdom and peace rising man into the cosmos in the form of transcension. There were many other interpretations I heard but we began to move on to another room. As we entered this room we were told to keep our heads down. I stared at the floor walking into the next room until our guide told us to look up, as I looked up I was greeted by a large, garden filled rotunda with a fountain poised in the center. A picture of which can be seen here. [5] [6]. The 2C-E really hit me at this point and I could feel myself coming up ever so slightly, I was amazed by the exquisite beauty and grand scale of this scene and after standing in awe for a brief time we continued onward. I began to come up really hard on the 2C-E as we made our way back through the LED covered tunnel and by this point I was tripping very hard. I remember telling the student teacher about the first hard evidence of the multiverse, the cyclical imprint found in the cosmic background radiation and inquiring about how this suggests that it collided with another universe.
