Becoming a mother was never something I thought would redefine me—but it has, in every possible way. I used to live by plans and checklists, measuring success through productivity and structure. Now, I measure my days by giggles, shared glances, and how many times I got down on the floor to be with my children, really with them.
Raising two young kids has taught me more about patience, humility, and emotional depth than any class or career ever could. Some days are calm, filled with art, baking, and laughter. Other days feel like a storm—overturned toys, spilled snacks, and tears (sometimes theirs, sometimes mine). But through it all, I’m learning to slow down, to observe instead of control, and to lead with love instead of fear.
I believe in parenting that centers connection. Not because it’s always easy, but because it’s where real growth happens. I want my children to remember not a perfect mother, but a present one. One who listened, laughed, apologized, and showed up even on hard days.
As part of this journey, I’ve started sharing my reflections, both raw and hopeful, through short writings. If you're walking a similar path—navigating motherhood with curiosity, heart, and a willingness to grow—I'd love to connect.
