A spore syringe is a syringe that contains a mixture of sterile water (usually distilled) and hydrated fungal spores in it. They can be used to introduce spores into the substrate in the inoculation stage of cultivating mushrooms.
Due to the possibility of contamination, the process of creating the spore syringe must be done in a sterile area (e.g. in a glove box).
