About

PsychonautWiki is a community-driven encyclopedia which is striving to formally document the field of psychonautics in a legitimate and comprehensive manner without depending on metaphors, analogies, or personal experience reports.

Our documentation includes an extensive archive of well-organized content regarding the scientific information and harm reduction techniques behind hallucinogenic substance usage and other areas of psychonautics.

This is presented alongside of an integrated subjective effects description index which is capable of breaking down the consistent experiences induced by specific compounds and pharmacological classes into easily readable terminologies, descriptions, leveling systems and example images.

We welcome contributors and encourage those who wish to further our cause to register and collaborate with us.

Mission Statement:

1. To document all aspects of psychonautics from a skeptical, reason-based and scientific perspective which separates the field from its associated mysticism.
2. To minimize danger, maximize safety and end the cultural taboos associated with personal psychoactive substance usage by providing unbiased and accurate information.
3. To serve as a community-driven platform through which ongoing collaboration will be organized and encouraged.

• space out the text so it looks less like a huge wall of text to improve readability. try to separate the different sections from one another using various techniques
• move the pw logo to the top of the page under the top heading instead of having a huge blank space there.
• i'd put the "we welcome contributors..." sentence spaced away from the wall of text (perhaps add a Contribute header) and then include a link to the irc
• i'd get a bit more creative with the typography to improve readability and aesthetics: ie, i'd use two fonts on the flyer instead of only using one and make the headers more distinct from the body text
• the mission statement could be reduced a lot since we already list the last sentence (“to serve as a community-driven...”) in the first About section so right now it's repeating itself.
• i'd also make sure the content was completely centered (right now the blank space on the right side is more than the left side) because i'm a fucking perfectionist like that. xD (you can see the pw logo is just about touching the edge of the sheet on the left side, yet the text on the right side is several cms away from the edge)
